THE DOS

DO...CALL THE POLICE EVEN IF NO INJURIES ARE VISIBLE.
To protect your rights, even if you are not hurt, call the police. As attorneys, James K. Wetzel, P.A. have had clients who failed to call the police. When injuries were later realized, this caused great difficulty in proving the facts. No police report could seriously hurt a recovery of damages.

Keep notes and information to yourself. Do not sign anything. Statements you make can be used as an admission of fault. Make no statement without first consulting your attorney. Call James K. Wetzel, P.A. immediately to protect your rights.
DON'T...TALK TO ANY INSURANCE COMPANY BEFORE CALLING YOUR ATTORNEY.
Do not give a recorded statement to any insurance company, not even your own, until you speak with your attorney. Often statements are used against you. When representing accident victims, James K.
